Smithsonian National Zoo Presents Zoolights!

From now until January 1, the Smithsonian National Zoo will present Zoolights, a holiday celebration like no other! This festive event features more than 500,000 environmentally-friendly LED lights that transform the zoo into a true winter wonderland.
In addition to the incredible light display, Zoolights also features live holiday music, warm winter beverages, and sweet treats for all to enjoy. There will even be plenty of opportunity for holiday shopping! Ride the train through the animal exhibits throughout the zoo, all while admiring the festive lights, singing carols and even taking a spin on the snow-less tubing track at this fun, free event.
