Ways to Enjoy Living in Bethesda
Sip Spanish Wines While Dining on Tapas at TapaBar
Come enjoy a modern twist on the classic Spanish tapas style of eating at TapaBar. Chef Alvaro Roche combines his intimate knowledge of Spanish food with a love of craft cooking to take you on a culinary journey you’ll not soon forget. The bright and airy restaurant offers floor-to-ceiling windows that both allow for enjoying the busy sights of the city outside and transport diners to a street-side café in Spain to truly complete the experience.
Happy hour is an excellent time to come sample some of the best that TapaBar has to offer. Every Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. you’ll be pleased to sip on $5 house wines, Spanish beer and the daily cocktail offering. But, of course, you’ll come more for the tapas than anything else! Discounted small plates are available to enjoy with your drinks, such as a lovely Serrano and Manchego cheese board, lamb and pork meatballs and the classic pan tumaca, a toasted bread topped with fresh tomato and olive oil. TapaBar is great for a laid back dinner and drinks with friends or for more special occasions.
