Stepping into Terrain Café is like taking a breath of fresh air. This open café space is designed to bring the outdoors in, with floor to ceiling windows, earthy furnishings, and plenty of greenery. 

The menu at Terrain Café is just as down-to-earth as their décor. Enjoy toasts mounded with cheese and fresh vegetables, garden-fresh salads and soups, and simple entrees like flank steak, duck breast, or salmon. You could certainly come to Terrain Café for a meal alone, but the popular route this holiday season is to visit the Anthropologie retail store in Bethesda and make a day of it with a visit to the adjoining café. Terrain Café is newly opened, and makes for another reason to get some retail therapy and a sumptuous meal to celebrate the season. Stop in for their daily brunch offering until 3 p.m., or for a quick stop at the barista station any time of day.
