Ways to Enjoy Living in Bethesda
Savor New American Cuisine at Zinnia, Now Open Near Your Red Line DC Apartment
Zinnia began welcoming customers this past summer with a fully outdoor dining operation. Its bistro tables scattered throughout the beautiful gardens made for picturesque places to sit as customers enjoyed fresh air and New American cuisine and cocktails. As the weather has begun to get colder, Zinnia still welcomes guests to the garden, but has also added indoor dining in the Tavern with the full restaurant and cafe expected to be open for business soon.
Depending on the temperature and your level of comfort, choose either the gardens or the tavern dining room for your Zinnia experience—or order your food to enjoy at your Woodmont Triangle apartment. The eatery focuses largely on craft cocktails and small plates, so it’s a popular spot for happy hour. Grab a craft beer or a cocktail and enjoy it with a smorgasbord of the tapas shared among friends. The roster of options includes an upscale cheese and charcuterie board, hand-cut fries, and crudite, along with more creative options such as sweet and spicy cauliflower, beet tartare, and bacon-stuffed hush puppies. If you’re looking for a full dinner, try one of the handful of American entrees. The Zinnia burger, for instance, features a tender seven-ounce beef patty topped with cheese, lettuce, and tomato, plus herb aioli.
